Reading
8:00
Good morning girls and boys!! We hope that you are all doing well. Also, we hope you were able to complete your math assessment yesterday. If you did not do the assessment yesterday, please finish it today. You can ask your teacher if you have any questions.

Today in reading we are again practicing rereading to help us better understand.

1. Watch Ms. England’s video.
2. Watch Ms. Heineberg’s reading Pinky and Rex and the New Neighbor.
3. Read for 20 minutes with a reading partner (your mom, dad, brother or sister).
     - Read something new for the first 10 minutes.
     - Reread the same thing for the second 10 minutes.
4. Post to Flipgrid. Talk about what you have read:
     - What did you notice the second time you read?
     - What is the problem and solution for the story or chapter?
     - What are the character traits of the main character?

2) Reread your book and see where you can add fancy or sparkly words.
