Reading 8:00	Good morning boys and girls! Welcome back to another filled day of digital learning! Today we are going to practice all our reading skills. 1. Watch Ms. England's video. 2. Watch Ms. Heineberg reading Pinky and Rex and the Bully. 3. Predict while you listen. Use the sentence frames:    -I think _____ will happen next. I think that because ______. 4. When you are done retell the chapter to your mom, dad or sibling.    -Include the most important things that happened in order (in your own words).    -Tell the setting, problem and solution. 5. Read for 20 minutes. Be sure to predict while you read and retell each book. 6. No posting to Flipgrid. Language  Arts 10:00	1. Watch Ms. Wilker's mini lesson about trying out different beginnings 2. DECIDE what you will do to your beginning to make it come alive more:     + think and write a different beginning    + add more action, talk, thoughts and feelings to your characters    + tell details step by step to make a better movie in the readers' mind    + make sure you used your five senses to describe the setting 3. Write for 20-25 minutes. 4. Make a Flipgrid video reading ALL of your book, but also tell your teacher what parts you added. Ms. Heineberg writing
