Watch your feedback from yesterday’s reading post Watch Ms. England’s video Watch Ms. H.’s reading Ch. 3 and 4 of Pinky and Rex and the Bully Tell your mom, dad, older sibling, or adult in your house what you think will happen in the next chapter. Make sure you explain why you are making your prediction. Find somewhere quiet and comfy. Read with your partner for 20 minutes. Make sure you are talking about what is happening while you are reading and keep predicting what is going to happen next. Grammar Time!
Check your teacher's feedback from the last grammar lesson: Tuesday, April 7: Grammar Time! Then watch today's video. Choose one verb and make your own video like the one you watched today. Ms. Heineberg’s grammar .------------------------------------------------------------- Writing Look at your feedback from yesterday :) Watch Ms. Wilker's Mini-Lesson: Adding details to the setting REread your writing. Ask yourself: "Have I told the setting AND added details to help the reader make a movie in their mind?" Add 1-2 details about what the character could SEE, HEAR, FEEL, TASTE, or SMELL (poster). Decide where and how you will add these details...a flap or strip? Continue writing for a total of 20 minutes and add TRANSITION words (poster) Make a Flipgrid explaining what you added today. Show it too. IF you feel finished early today, and you have checked ALL, make a list of some other TROUBLES / SOLUTIONS to give your character in future books. Save it for next week! If not, do not worry. | |||||
