Dear Parents,

We have attached all the articles that we previously shared that we feel you might find helpful. Please feel free to read and use as you see best:

Nudging development and honoring approximations are important concepts for every learner, at any age.
Matt shares several reasons why he usually doesn’t spell for children,
and ways to respond to “How do you spell…?”
Matt Glover talks about why book making is crucial for young writers.
While reminding, telling, and correcting are fine, they’re different from teaching. If our goal is to teach, then we need to show a model.

Parents, please support child in the following ways:

1)  Login on time so students have enough time to write.
2) Students should have a calm and quiet work space to write their best.
3) Students will need a NEW writing booklet or pages.
4) Also, please provide 2 pencils and an eraser.
5) It would help if they have their characters' traits poster and problem/solution list that we used throughout this unit (if you cannot find, it's ok).
