Reading 8:00	Good morning boys and girls! Welcome back to another exciting week of distance learning. I hope that you are excited for another full week on fun online! 1. Watch Ms. Takamura’s video 2. Read independently for 20 minutes 3. Retell what happened to your mom, dad, or older sibling. Remember to include: - Tell what happened in order (in your own words) - Include the problem and solution - Include the characters’ names and setting 4. Language  Arts 10:00	1. Check your feedback from Thursdays writing. This will also remind you of what you were doing in writing last week. 2. Watch Ms. Wilker's Mini Lesson about writing SATISFYING ENDINGS 3. Review the poster "Ways to Bring Stories to Life" from the Small Moment unit, to make your ending come alive: -ACTION--move and talk -SMALL STEPS--stretch out the details to make more of a movie in the readers' mind -FEELING and THOUGHTS--give these to the characters 4. Write and write for 20-25 minutes 5. Make a Flipgrid video sharing what you did today, including your SATISFYING ENDING... show/hold and read for your teacher. Estes documentos podem te ajudar a deixar sua história mais detalhada: Acrescente detalhes à sua história: Quem, quando, onde? 3ª feira: Façam uma página do livro “Ordem Alfabética”. Esta semana, gostaríamos que vocês fizessem uma das páginas dos animais brasileiros. Quem já fez, pode escolher uma outra. Peçam para um adulto tirar uma foto e enviar esta atividade e a atividade de ontem por e-mail para sua professora de Português. 4ª feira: Início da unidade “Animais Brasileiros”. - Ouça a pratique a música “Ciranda dos Bichos” para conhecer ou lembrar de alguns animais do Brasil. - Assistam ao vídeo do Flipgrid da sua professora. Dear students, How are you? Here are the Portuguese activities for this week. Remember you are expected to do one each day. Monday: Write one page on your “Fim de semana” journal. The following documents can help you write more detailed stories: Acrescente detalhes à sua história: Quem, quando, onde? Tuesday: Do the “Animais Brasileiros” page of the “Ordem Alfabética” book, and organize the words in Alphabetical order. If you have already done this page, you can choose another one. Then, ask your parents to take a picture of it and send it to your teacher as well as the work from yesterday. Wednesday: We are starting a new unit: Brazilian animals. - Listen and practice the song “Ciranda dos Bichos” to get to know some Brazilian animals; - Watch your teacher’s Flipgrid video. Then, prepare a script to make your own video: write down what you are going to say about your favorite animal.Pay attention to the instructions your teacher is going to give you on the video.
