3. Read for 10 minutes by yourself.

4. Read with your partner (your mom, dad, older sibling or any adult you are with) for another 10 minutes.

          -Before you start make sure you introduce the main character(s) to
           your partner.

5. While you read discuss the character(s) with you partner:

         -What is the main character's name? How old is he or she?
         -What are some of the things the main character likes to do? What do
           they not like?
         -What are some of their inside personality traits? What are their
          outside personality traits?
         -What are some other things you have learned about the character?
