Curriculum Update

Literacy- Over the past week, students have begun to develop routines they will be using throughout the year in both reading and writing. Additionally, teachers have been getting to know students and their reading and writing strengths and areas for growth.

Math- We have begun our new math program, Eureka. Students are working with numeration and building fluency with addition of numbers up to ten. Students are showing their understanding through number bonds and number sentences.

Social Studies- Students have been creating their classroom agreements to make their class a great community. Also, they have learned how to follow the Eagle Way all around the school. These skills and routines support our unit about good citizenship which focuses on cooperation and responsibility.

Portuguese- Em nossas primeiras semanas de aulas de Português, estamos nos familiarizando com a rotina e fazendo atividades para nos conhecermos melhor. Para isso, estamos ouvindo a leitura de diversas histórias e produzindo um livro, chamado “Eu”.
